The Gold Coast's hottest purveyors of vegan ramen form an unlikely alliance with Brisbane's finest chicken pub - for a limited time.

It appears an unlikely pairing on the surface, however, the team behind Brisbane's Finest Chicken Pub, The Coop Bistro have partnered up with Australia's very first 100% vegan ramen store, ilikeramen, to bring a taste of the Gold Coast to the people of Brisbane. Since its humble beginnings as a pop-up, the ilikeramen brand has garnered a cult-like following and recently opened a permanent digs inside the Love Child Market Place at Miami Beach.

Commencing Sunday, August 19, the ilikeramen team will take over The Coop to dispense their delicious vegan concoctions to hungry patrons; think flavourful bone-free broths like spicy kimchi, white miso and shiitake/soy, topped with everything from bok choy and fried tofu, to roasted tomato and the famed vegan chick’n.

All ramen bowls come with a generous servings of chopped spring onions, fresh sprouts, fried shallots, roasted seaweed, chilli threads and black sesame and if you can't quite pick a favourite from the menu, you can opt to build your own. The full menu also includes a delicious selection of sides that include panko-crumbed mushrooms and meat-free po’boys.

Open for both lunch & dinner each Sunday from August 19 until September 2, these godly vegan eats have been paired with a carefully curated speciality list of natural wines to help you sip and slurp your way out of the winter and into another amazing Queensland spring.

Due to the anticipated demand, this special pop-up will only be accepting walk-ins, though groups of 8 or more are encouraged to email us in advance for a table.
